Sometimes you just have one of those sessions where everything goes right – the light is beautiful, your clients are super nice, easy to work with and up for anything, you stumble upon perfect backdrop after perfect backdrop…you get the idea. Well Friday evening I had one of those sessions (aside from the crazy traffic I hit on my way there!). This couple is expecting their first child later in the summer and they are so excited to be parents and so in love with each other – it was virtually impossible for the camera not to capture the emotion. Thank you K and J for giving me the opportunity to capture the love and beauty of this special time in your lives. I cannot wait to meet your little one in a couple months!

My fantastic family vacation has put me behind in Project 52, so I find myself playing catch-up once again. I’m traveling again this weekend, so we’ll see what I can accomplish before then.
The theme for week 20 was “motherhood.” This can be interpreted in so many ways, but what better to express motherhood than a mother-to-be looking at her growing baby bump and dreaming of what motherhood will hold for her (Hint: In your wildest dreams, you will never imagine how wonderfully amazing it actually is.).

What a fun day taking pictures of these adorable girls! I’ve been dying to meet these little girls for a couple of years now and I’m so happy that I finally had the opportunity to. The weather held up for us and we were able to take the pictures outside. The girls really had fun running all over the yard showing me their model poses.
And there is another little girl on the way! Get ready, Dad, the boys are going to be banging down your door in a few years!

I had my first ever maternity shoot this weekend and it was a great experience for me…I hope for mommy and daddy-to-be too. Would you believe she is due in just a couple of weeks?! Doesn’t she look great?!
